ITIL Managers Program details.
To attend ITIL Managers training, please book on the DITCHE registration site.
Places will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. These courses are fully funded. Accommodation will be paid for by TENET, who will also book the accommodation. Institutions can claim the cost of transport as per the claim system as used for TENET events. Should more then two staff from an institution, wish to attend these courses, please request your SPoC to submit a motivation to Geoff Hoy
- Management approval to attend the course.
- ITIL Foundation Certificate.
- A laptop to complete assignments.
- Managerial experience (5 years) otherwise the course becomes theoretical and is not grounded in reality.
- Management commitment. The courses are hard work and where possible attendees’ work loads should be lightened.
- Attendees accept and understand that "homework" assignments will continue from the end of the Service Support course until the revision session 2 weeks before the exam. You can expect to spend an hour a day doing these assignements.
- The attendee commits to remain in the employ of the Higher Education sector for at least one (1) year after completing the course.
- Attendees names and ITIL Foundation certification details must be submitted 4 weeks in advance of the exams datetes. They may be added on the DITCHE registration pages.
NOTE: The courses are residential as assignments are collaborative and must be completed in the evenings. Attendees must not make other arrangements to meet people in the evening. All evening meal invoices must be kept and submitted to the attendees’ institution who may reclaim the cost from TENET. Per diems or daily allowances may not be reclaimed as TENET will meet all transport and meal costs.
