Faulty 10Gb fibre connector - general degradation on all GEN3 sites (resolved)
Report from Andrew Alston, TENET's CTO:
"A 10gig fiber port optic on the switch at Internet Solutions that provides the primary uplink for our 7609S seemed to have been faulty. We noticed there were errors on the optic port and switched the optic on the Internet Solutions side and the circuit is no longer running errors.
"I verified the speed by doing a transfer over that port to our Bree Street hosted box from our London hosted box and managed to get about 13MBytes/second (just over 100mbit/second) on a single session with adjusted window sizes."
