Numerous Neotel failures in the past 48 hours

Neotel have had major failures in the Pretoria region, affected all wireless sites there, as well as periodic outages approximately every four hours, affecting all GEN3 sites. Although these problems appear to have been corrected, TENET has received no explanation for any of the outages. It is hoped that this will be corrected by 4:00 pm 27/3.
Update 28/03/2008 10h10: the periodic breaks appear to be continuing but on a more sproadic basis. The matter has been escalated to senior levels within Neotel.
