Routing instability 12/3/2008 11h30 (resolved)
Neotel appear to have a routing configuration error that is causing instability across the entire GEN3 network. The issue has been logged and Neotel engineers are working on it. Further information will be provided when known.
Update 12/3 11h52: the failure has been tracked to a faulty hardware blade. The blade is currently being replaced.
Update 12/3 14h55: service has been restored to all sites except for UCT and UFH East London. The explanation for the partial failure of service is not known and further information from Neotel is awaited.
Update 15/3: This failure was resolved on the same day. Web update delayed because of lack of remote connectivity from a conference. A full incident report from Neotel is awaited.
