Neotel maintenance during standard window, 03/08/2008 00h00-06h00

Neotel will be carrying out a number of maintenance activities during the standard maintenance window on 3 August 2008, 00h00 to 06h00 to improve service levels. Sites should assume that the availability of GEN3 services during this period is subject to interruption.

Neotel maintenance during standard window, 16/3/2008 00h00-06h00

Neotel will be doing maintenance on all their building switches this coming Sunday during the standard maintenance window, 00h00-06h00. The reason for the work is to change the MTU size on the network. Sites should assume that GEN3 services will not be available during this period.

Neotel maintenance during standard window, 23/3/2008 00h00-06h00

Neotel will be doing a Cisco IOS upgrade to fix a bug on equipment in the Western Cape region on Sunday 23 March during the standard maintenance window, 00h00-06h00. Sites in the region should assume that GEN3 services will be unavailable during this period.

Neotel maintenance during standard window, 18/5/2008

Neotel will be replacing some switches in the Pretoria/Centurion region this weekend. Sites in the area should assume that services will be unavailable between 00h00 and 06h00 on 18 May.

Neotel maintenance during standard window, 25/5/2008 00h00-06h00

Neotel will be upgrading IOS software on Cisco equipment in their Cape Town and Bellville nodes this Sunday (25 May) from 00h00 to 06h00. Since this work will affect the Breehead gateway. the upgrade is likely to result in GEN3 services being unavailable for most sites during this period. Only ADSL sites and TSNs 33, 36, 42, 44 and 85 will be unaffected.

Neotel maintenance during standard window, 1/6/2008 00h00-06h00

Neotel need to do some follow-up work after last weekend's maintenance on the switching infrastructure in their Bellville node. The follow-up is planned for Sunday 1/6/2008 from 00h00 to 06h00. Since this work may affect the Breehead gateway, it may result in GEN3 services being unavailable for most sites during this period. Only ADSL sites and TSNs 33, 36, 42, 44 and 85 will not be at risk of loss of service.

TENET maintenance during standard window, 8 June 2008 00h00 to 04h00

TENET will be conducting maintenance on two core routers at the Johannesburg Reefhead site on 8 June 2008 between 00h00 and 04h00. Services to the following sites will be disrupted: TSNs 10, 32, 33, 36, 37, 42, 44, 61, and 85, as well as all DSL sites. Sites should assume that all GEN3 services will be unavailable during this period.

Emergency TENET maintenance 11 June 00h00-00h30

TENET will be conducting emergency maintenance on a core router at the Johannesburg Reefhead site on 11 June 2008 between 00h00 and 00h30.
