UCT to host inaugural Cyber Security Symposium Africa

Cybersecurity remains a global risk in 2017. Institutions are under constant pressure to ensure that their information and assets are protected and that the security measures they have in place can handle any potential cyber attacks.

If your role, no matter how big or small, is to ensure that your institution's data and network is secure then you're invited to attend the inaugural Cyber Security Symposium Africa. The symposium, which is hosted by the University of Cape Town, aims to provide a platform for those in this field to share knowledge and ideas, and identify possible collaborations.

Security experts will share their insights and give guidance on what institutions need to do to ensure that their data is secure and how to encourage users to be aware of their actions when interacting on the network and online.
